Cam Newton’s Showmanship, Quarterback Skills Among Reasons NFL Fans Hate Him

Cam Newton had an MVP-caliber season, but that didn’t stop NFL fans from unleashing their hatred toward him.

The Carolina Panthers quarterback finished the regular season with 3,837 passing yards, 35 passing touchdowns, 636 rushing yards and 10 rushing touchdowns on his way to Super Bowl 50, and he left plenty of haters in his wake.

NFL fans don’t like the way Newton dabs and dances after every single touchdown, and they especially don’t like the way he shows no mercy when beating their favorite team. But those are far from the only reasons.

We’re sure Newton’s more focused on winning his first Super Bowl ring Sunday rather than what people think of him, but here are some reasons that might explain the hate.
