The Internet would really like you to know that it doesn’t like Coldplay. But for the few of us who do (raises hand and logs off Twitter), the British rock band performed a trio of songs to kick off the Super Bowl 50 halftime show.

Coldplay opened things up with “Viva La Vida” and performed “Paradise” and “Adventure of a Lifetime,” too.

Bruno Mars then hit the stage for some “Uptown Funk.”

He even got the dads “dancing.”

But let’s face it: no matter how you feel about Coldplay, everyone was just counting the minutes until Beyoncé joined the stage and performed “Formation.”

Coldplay returned and sang “Clocks” while a tribute to previous halftime shows played in the background. Coldplay then closed things out with “Fix You,” along with Mars and Beyoncé.

And no matter how you felt about the show, you have to admit that the scene was something special.
