Joseph Randle lost his job with the Dallas Cowboys last fall, but right now, that’s the least of his worries.

The free agent running back was arrested Sunday in his hometown of Witchita, Kansas, on suspicion of aggravated battery, drug possession and criminal damage to property. Randle was booked around 8:15 a.m. local time at Sedgwick County Jail, and his bond is set at $100,000.

The incident was the latest of several missteps Randle has made over the last year and a half, beginning in October 2014, when he was arrested for allegedly stealing cologne and men’s underwear from a Texas department store. Randle was arrested twice in 2015, once for unlawful possession of marijuana in February and again in November for assaulting a security guard at a Kansas casino.

He was arrested again on Feb. 1, 2016, for an outstanding warrant for speeding, marking his fifth arrest in 17 months.

The 24-year-old showed flashes of promise on the field for Dallas during the 2015 season and rushed for three touchdowns in a September game against the Atlanta Falcons. He was demoted to a reserve role in favor of Darren McFadden in October, though, and the Cowboys cut him on Nov. 3.
