SAN FRANCISCO — Donnie Wahlberg is one of the New England Patriots’ most famous fans, and while he handled the team’s playoff loss well, he and wife Jenny McCarthy don’t see eye to eye on Peyton Manning entering Super Bowl 50.

“I honestly think, for Manning’s sake … because we think he might retire if he wins, why not let him go out on top?” McCarthy told NESN.com’s Michaela Vernava on Friday on Radio Row.

That drew a quick retort from Wahlberg, who echoed all of his fellow Bostonians’ sentiments by saying: “I don’t want to see Peyton Manning go out on top. I don’t want to see any Manning win a Super Bowl ever again.”

McCarthy was on Radio Row to broadcast her “Dirty, Sexy, Funny” SiriusXM show and drew support from Wahlberg, who has turned her on to Boston’s sports teams. Watch the video above to see them share a “Donnie Loves Jenny” spoiler and recommend to Red Sox fans some items at the new Wahlburgers location near Fenway Park.
