Kelvin Benjamin’s Rehab ‘Going Good,’ Trying To Support Panthers (Video)

Carolina Panthers wide receiver Kelvin Benjamin tearing his ACL in August and being unable to build on his very successful rookie season was difficult. Watching his team make the Super Bowl and not be able to participate is even tougher.

That said, Benjamin is doing the best he can to support his teammates as they prepare to play the Denver Broncos in Super Bowl 50 on Sunday.

Like many, Benjamin also doesn’t understand the criticism Panthers quarterback Cam Newton continues to receive.

“How are you going to hate on a guy who comes in everyday, working and doing what he’s supposed to do, doing a man’s job,” Benjamin told’s Michaela Vernava earlier this week. “He’s not getting in trouble off the field, he’s not being a distraction for his team. Just keep hating and we’ll keep coming back to the Super Bowl.
