UPDATE: Thompson defeated Curry and Phoenix Suns rookie Devin Booker in the finals after hitting six consecutive money balls to end the round.

It was a fantastic display of the two best shooters in the NBA, with Thompson taking the final 27-23.

Original story: Much has been made about how dynamic Golden State’s Splash Brothers, Stephen Curry and Klay Thompson, have become as teammates.

Saturday night, though, the NBA champion teammates become frenemies.

In a pre-shootout interview with TNT’s Craig Sager, Thompson revealed that his father, former NBA player Mychal Thompson, told Klay that if he didn’t defeat Curry in the contest, he isn’t allowed to come home.

We’re guessing this was just a joke, but there’s nothing wrong with a little push and some friendly competition, right?
