Lamar Odom made his first public appearance in months Thursday at Kanye West’s Yeezy Season 3 Fashion Week Show in Madison Square Garden.
Khloe Kardashian — Odom’s estranged wife and West’s sister-in-law — accompanied the former NBA player to the event, according to Us Weekly’s Esther Lee. Lee added that “the entire arena erupted in cheers as West walked Odom to his seat.”
Odom was found unconscious in a Las Vegas-area brothel last October and fell into a coma upon hospitalization following a drug overdose. Kardashian had put the couple’s impending divorce on hold after the summer but later decided to continue moving forward with the official split as Odom began to recover. She currently is dating Houston Rockets superstar James Harden.
Odom wasn’t the only cause for headlines at the event, of course, as West also debuted several tracks from his new album “The Life of Pablo.”
