Marcus Smart’s multi-colored hairstyle vaguely resembles that of Odell Beckham Jr., and Smart did his best impression of the New York Giants wide receiver Monday night.

The Boston Celtics trailed the in the first quarter Minnesota Timberwolves at Target Center when Smart entered the game seeking to turn things around. The 21-year-old made his impact felt immediately, showing amazing reflexes to intercept a Zach LaVine pass in midair.

Smart topped the incredible effort off in style by finishing strong at the other end, but this play deserves another look to fully realize its greatness.

It’s hard to catch any moving object like that, much less the large sphere that is an NBA basketball.

Of course, plays like this shouldn’t be surprising when it comes to “The Cobra,” who is one of the most tenacious defenders in the league and once did this to poor Brooklyn Nets guard Donald Sloan.
