It’s not clear whether this is a case of “welcome to Egypt, Marshawn Lynch” or “welcome to Beast Mode, Egypt.”

Either way, Lynch riding a camel while his guide plays a song by Bay Area rapper Tay Way confirms our belief that the former Seattle Seahawks running back is enjoying the early days of his retirement.

Lynch was in Egypt as part of the American Football Without Barriers program, and former teammate Breno Giacomini accompanied him on the camel trip.

After more than 5,100 years of civilization, will Egypt ever be the same having experienced “Beast Mode”?

Time will tell. Lots of it.
