The Miami Heat failed to ignite in their most recent NBA game, but their remake of the introductory sequence to “Martin” is nothing short of fire.

Chris Bosh leads the team’s well-done recreation paying tribute to the 1990s hit sitcom starring comedian-turned-Hollywood star Martin Lawrence. Amar’e Stoudemire, Dwyane Wade, Chris Anderson and others join Bosh in the “Martin” imitation.

The Heat shared the funny sequence Monday on Twitter.

The Heat’s remake is just like the one “Martin” used for its first two seasons.

As for why the Heat chose to pay homage? We’re not sure. And it doesn’t really matter.

In other news, the Heat lost to the San Antonio Spurs 119-101 on Tuesday, leading some to wonder whether they stayed up too late the previous evening watching “Martin” reruns.
