Michal Neuvirth produced what is without question the best save of the 2015-16 NHL season Friday night.
The Philadelphia Flyers goalie sprawled out in his crease to make a miraculous stick save to deny Minnesota Wild forward Charlie Coyle of an almost-certain goal. The puck probably was just a few centimeters from crossing the goal line.
Making the save even more impressive was that it came with less than three seconds remaining in regulation and Philly up 3-2. Neuvirth saved the game, literally, for the Flyers.
