Peyton Manning knows all about the Manning Face.
The Denver Broncos quarterback appeared on “The Tonight Show” with Jimmy Fallon on Wednesday, and he explained the blank stare his brother, New York Giants quarterback Eli Manning, gave while the rest of the Manning clan was celebrating the Broncos’ lead in Super Bowl 50. Manning said his brother’s face is one with which he’s very familiar.
“Eli and I have always supported each other,” the elder Manning told Fallon. “I think Eli’s analyzing the game and kind of into the game like I would be, as if he was playing. So, he was just as happy. But it’s funny, when I saw that clip, Jimmy, I’ve seen that look before and I recognize at some other big moments in my life, he kind of had that similar expression.”
Manning went on to give some examples of those moments, and it was pretty hilarious.
So, it turns out Eli’s face always has been that way.
