Red Sox’s Yoan Moncada Has New Car That’s Absolutely Sick (Videos)

Yoan Moncada’s wheels on the diamond are surpassed only by his wheels on the road.

Moncada, who stole 49 bases at Single-A Greenville in 2015, recently tapped into the $31.5 million signing bonus the Boston Red Sox gave him last spring to buy an awesome new car.

Alex Vega, owner and operator of The Auto Firm near Miami, has done work for many Red Sox players, including Pablo Sandoval and Hanley Ramirez. Moncada apparently liked what he saw, as Vega posted a few photos and videos of the new whip he just finished for the 20-year-old Cuban prospect.

Moncada, who is the Red Sox’s top prospect, hit .278 with eight home runs, 38 RBIs and an .817 OPS last season in 81 games with Greenville — his first taste of professional baseball in the United States — and many expect him to blossom into a Major League Baseball superstar.

That means Moncada might someday add a few more vehicles to his collection, though he’s clearly off to a roaring start based on Vega’s Instagram posts.
