Aaron Hernandez can strike one of his legal battles from his list.

HernandezĀ and Alexander Bradley have agreed to settlement termsĀ in a civil lawsuit the latter filed in Florida against the former New England Patriot, The Boston Globe’s Travis Andersen reported Saturday. Bradley and Hernandez were thought to be friends at one point in time, but their relationship turned sour a few years ago.

Bradley had previously claimedĀ in court thatĀ Hernandez shot him in the face in February 2013 following an argument in a Florida nightclub. His lawyers wrote Friday in a court filing that ā€œthis matter has been settled,ā€ according to Anderson.

Neither Hernandez’s nor Bradley’s attorneys revealed settlement terms.

Hernandez currently is imprisoned for life (without parole), following his April 2015 conviction for the June 2013 murder of Odin Lloyd. Hernandez has filed an appeal, and the Massachusetts Supreme Judicial Court is expected to hear the case at a future date.

Hernandez also has been criminally charged in the July 2012 double murder ofĀ Daniel de Abreu, 28, and Safiro Furtado, 29. Hernandez willĀ appear inĀ Suffolk Superior Court in Boston when that trial begins, and Bradley, whom authorities believe was in a car with Hernandez when he allegedly shot de Abreu and Furtado, has been granted immunity in the trial.

Lloyd’s family last year filed a wrongful death lawsuitĀ in civil court against Hernandez. The families of de Abreu and Furtado have done the same.
