Ryan O’Reilly Struggling To Score For Sabres Before Boston Trip (Video)

For a player like Ryan O’Reilly, it’s hard to believe the dismal numbers he’s been putting up of late.

The Buffalo Sabres center hasn’t scored in his last 11 games, and he has a minus-10 rating. Still, he has 17 goals through 52 games, and he is one of the reasons why the Sabres are heading in the right direction.

“This is a guy, and if you get to know him, and the people in Buffalo who know him best say he puts so much pressure on himself, to point where maybe he needs to pull back just a little bit,” NESN’s Billy Jaffe said on “Bruins Face-Off Live” before Boston’s game against Buffalo on Saturday. “He wants to carry this team, lead this team back to great levels, and he’s passionate about it.”
