Seven Players Bruins Could Target Ahead Of 2016 NHL Trade Deadline

Winnipeg Jets defensemen Jacob TroubaWith the NHL’s trade deadline less than a week away, the Boston Bruins’ plan of action still remains a bit of a mystery.

Will they stand pat and try to see how far their current roster can take them? Trade an established star for a package of draft picks and/or prospects? Make a minor move that could improve the team in the short term?

Boston’s roster could look very different come this time next week, or it could look exactly the same. The Bruins do have areas that need addressing, though, and if they do choose to make a move before next Monday’s deadline, we mapped out a few players they potentially could target.

Included in this group are both young players who could be a part of Boston’s plans for years to come and rental candidates who probably would be with the team for just a few dozen games before moving on to another club.
