Don’t expect Antonio Brown to send Cincinnati Bengals linebacker Vontaze Burfict a Christmas card this year.
Burfict concussed the Pittsburgh Steelers wide receiver with a cheap shot late in the Steelers-Bengals AFC Wild Card playoff game last month. The injury forced Brown to miss Pittsburgh’s divisional round matchup with the Denver Broncos, which the Steelers lost. Burfict was suspended three games for the hit.
Brown was a guest on Thursday’s edition of “The Dan Patrick Show” and blasted Burfict, saying “he’s an idiot.”
Brown said he was out before he hit the ground following Burfict’s hit. He also noted that he feels much better and that it took him two weeks to recover from the concussion symptoms.
