Stephen Curry Posts ‘Crying Jordan’ Meme After Panthers’ Super Bowl Loss (Photo)

Stephen Curry reacted to his team’s championship loss like any other 27-year-old might: by taking solace in the Internet’s meme of the moment.

Curry took to Twitter shortly after the Carolina Panthers’ loss to the Denver Broncos on Sunday in Super Bowl 50. The NBA superstar posted a photo of himself banging the Panthers’ “Keep Pounding” drum, as he did before the big game kicked off. However, the picture Curry shared had an image of a crying Michael Jordan, or “Crying Jordan” in Internet parlance, in place of the Panthers’ logo. Curry, a diehard Panthers fan, also let his more than 4 million followers know how he was feeling.

The Super Bowl defeat probably brought Curry into unfamiliar territory, given his status as a reigning NBA MVP and champion, but it won’t push him off the Panthers’ bandwagon anytime soon.
