Tiger Woods Answers Questions About His Health With Simple Tweet (Video)

Reports of Tiger Woods’ (complete) demise may have been exaggerated.

Golf reporter Robert Lusetich reported earlier this week that Woods’ back condition actually had worsened after a microdisectomy surgery. Lusetich delivered the news with a pair of tweets, saying the news was “Not to say (Woods’ career was) over, but no imminent return.”

Woods’ agent quickly fired back, emphatically shooting down the reports. Woods himself on Wednesday appeared to refute the report, too, with a simple tweet.

Who knows what’s next for Woods at this point. If this story and its most recent developments are any indication, it’s that we really don’t know what the short- and long-term prospects look like for Woods. The former world’s No. 1 expressed his frustration with the process in December. Woods told USA TODAY there was no timetable for his return, and playing at all in 2016 is still very much up in the air.
