Tom Brady Or Bill Belichick For President? A Few N.H. Voters Say ‘Yes’

New Hampshire voters might be onto something.

Bill Belichick has done a good job of running the Patriots over the last 16 years, and Tom Brady has been successful at quarterbacking the team’s offense. So perhaps we shouldn’t be surprised that a few N.H. voters — presumably Pats fans — decided the men are fit to lead the United States of America.

Belichick received one write-in vote (Democratic) in Tuesday’s presidential primary, according to a full list released by New Hampshire election officials. Brady, meanwhile, received two votes on both the Democratic and Republican sides of the ballot.

At least one New Hampshire native is paying attention to the Boston Celtics’ surprising success this season. C’s head coach Brad Stevens received a Republican write-in vote.

Several other celebrities garnered write-in votes, too. Kanye West (who said he plans to run for president in 2020), Tom Cruise, Willie Nelson, Tom Selleck and Clint Eastwood were among those recognized by a select few in the Granite State.

Now, let’s just hope neither Brady nor Belichick gets any crazy ideas. The Patriots might have a few more Super Bowl runs in them, meaning more opportunities to witness gridiron greatness.
