SANTA CLARA, Calif. — Von Miller made his presence known early in Super Bowl 50.

The Denver Broncos’ star pass rusher put the heat on Cam Newton, stripping the newly crowned NFL MVP of the football, which bounced toward the end zone. Malik Jackson recovered the loose pigskin, giving the Broncos a touchdown and a 10-0 lead over the Carolina Panthers with 6:34 remaining in first quarter at Levi’s Stadium.

Newton was just 2-of-6 passing for 12 yards on the Panthers’ first three drives, as the Broncos’ relentless pressure caused problems.
