There’s a pretty big football game Sunday, but before Super Bowl 50 gets underway, there’s a pretty intriguing NBA matchup at TD Garden.
The red-hot Boston Celtics, winners of eight of their last nine games, will face off Sunday afternoon against the reeling Sacramento Kings, who have lost six of their last seven amid rumors that head coach George Karl’s job could be in jeopardy.
Sunday also will be Rajon Rondo’s second trip to TD Garden since the Celtics traded him in Dec. 2014 and his first as a member of the Kings.
