The United States men’s national soccer team’s yearly kickoff camp is over, bar two more hours of playing.
Team USA will take on Canada in an exhibition (friendly) game Friday at StubHub Center in Carson, Calif. The meeting is the North American rivals’ first since January 2013, when the U.S. extended its unbeaten run against Canada to 16 games with a goal-less draw.
This game will have a familiar feel to it, as 21 U.S. players and 11 of Canada’s play for Major League Soccer clubs. International bragging rights will be on the line, as the start of the 2016 season nears.
