California will be hosting the world’s greatest sporting event for the 12th time when the Denver Broncos and Carolina Panthers play in Super Bowl 50 on Sunday.

However, it will be the first time the San Francisco 49ers host the event.

Super Bowl 50 will be played at Levi’s Stadium in Santa Clara, Calif., which is about 50 miles from San Francisco. Levi’s Stadium opened July, 17, 2014, and it can hold up to 75,000 people.

It’s a fantastic venue for an event like the Super Bowl.

Date: Sunday, Feb. 7
