Bill Belichick made it clear from the moment he sat down at the annual NFL coaches breakfast that it wasn’t going to be a very productive session for the media.
Belichick immediately pushed away the recording equipment placed in front of him by reporters to clear out some elbow room.
The New England Patriots head coach spent the rest of the session giving brief answers, only expounding on the retirement of former Patriots linebacker Jerod Mayo.
Belichick shows his disdain for the NFL Annual Meeting every year. He skipped the annual coaches photo, as usual, and NFL commissioner Roger Goodell’s opening speech this year.
