BOSTON — The Calgary Flames nearly tied the score 1-1 in the second period of Tuesday night’s game against the Boston Bruins at TD Garden, but Tuukka Rask had other ideas.

A Dougie Hamilton shot from the point deflected off Dennis Seidenberg in front and the puck bounced to a wide open Mikael Backlund, but Rask slid from right to left in time to rob the Flames forward with a great save. You can see it in the DCU Save of the Day above.

Rask entered Tuesday’s game with a 24-18-5 record, a .917 save percentage and a 2.56 goals against average.
