It appears the New England Patriots won’t tender restricted free-agent wide receiver Brian Tyms this offseason.

Tyms posted a farewell to fans on social media Wednesday, saying he won’t return to the Patriots. Here’s a screenshot from Tyms’ private Twitter and Instagram accounts.

Tyms missed the entire 2015 season after he was placed on injured reserve with an Achilles injury in training camp. He had five receptions for 82 yards and one touchdown in 2014 with the Patriots.

Tyms caught two passes for 12 yards with the Cleveland Browns in 2013.

The Patriots currently have wide receivers Julian Edelma, Brandon LaFell, Danny Amendola, Keshawn Martin, Aaron Dobson, Matthew Slater and Chris Harper on their roster.

Fullback James Develin, offensive tackles Kevin Hughes and LaAdrian Waddle and defensive tackle Sealver Siliga also are restricted free agents for the Patriots.
