Isaiah Thomas Apologizes To R.J. Hunter For High-Five Snub (Video)

Isaiah Thomas didn’t mean to remind R.J. Hunter of his rookie status again. It just kind of happened.

Thomas, 27, left Hunter, 22, hanging Wednesday night on the Boston Celtics’ bench in a show of brutal indifference to his young teammate’s desire to congratulate him for a job well done. Jared Sullinger shared the moment on Twitter for posterity.

Thomas and Hunter sorted out the situation before comic relief at the snub could overrun the entire Celtics organization. Apparently, Thomas went rookie-blind for a moment.

It’s hard out there for a rookie.
