Tom Brady already has four Super Bowl rings with the New England Patriots. Perhaps the quarterback can chip in elsewhere, too, and help the Boston Celtics raise their 18th NBA championship banner.
Celtics guard Isaiah Thomas took to Twitter on Tuesday to express his desire for Brady’s guidance. The 27-year-old All-Star has been instrumental in the Celtics’ surprising success this season, but he clearly realizes that Boston needs a little extra something before it can take the next step.
One chat with Brady won’t put the Celtics over the top, even though their third-place standing in the Eastern Conference suggests they could make noise come playoff time. But Brady knows as well as anyone what it takes to thrive in big games. Some advice from the Patriots quarterback could go a long way as Thomas and the C’s continue to mature and develop together.
