At this rate, any time D’Angelo Russell receives a pass should be considered at best a necessity and at worst a minor miracle.

Los Angeles Lakers players reportedly are shunning their rookie guard after video leaked of fellow Laker Nick Young talking about cheating on fiancee Iggy Azalea.

In the video, which leaked last week, Young is talking to Russell about a 19-year-old girl he met at a club. Unbeknownst to Young, the conversation was recorded, presumably by Russell.

ESPN.com reported late Tuesday night that the Lakers are now isolating, shunning even, Russell during team activities like breakfast or in the locker room. It also looks like the Lakers are taking it out on Russell during the game.

This video started making the Internet rounds Wednesday. In the video, Russell appears to be blatantly ignored by Julius Randle, a forward, who pulls down a rebound and instead of throwing an outlet pass to Russell, pushes the ball up the court himself. The whole time Russell can be seen running alongside Randle, appearing to be calling for the ball.

It appears that video is from the Lakers’ March 22 game against the Memphis Grizzlies, which was right around the time this whole thing was coming to a head.
