Matt Barnes Chased John Henson Down Tunnel After Both Were Ejected (Video)

Of all the things we know about Matt Barnes, two things perhaps stand out the most: He’s a little crazy. And he sure isn’t afraid to fight.

The Memphis Grizzlies guard found himself in the middle of another scuffle Thursday night. This one, unlike his reported run-in with former New York Knicks head coach Derek Fisher, took place on the court — or at least that’s where it started.

Barnes and the short-handed Grizzlies lost to the Milwaukee Bucks in a spirited game that featured some bad blood. It nearly boiled over with just seconds left when Milwaukee big man John Henson sent a Barnes shot flying into the stands. Henson demonstrably celebrated the block, much to the disgust of Barnes.

Henson received a technical foul for his actions, and the tech was his second of the game, resulting in an ejection. Henson walked back to the locker room — not before celebrating with fans — as a steamed Barnes remained on the court.

The officials ultimately ejected Barnes, too, although it’s not clear why. Regardless, Barnes quickly retreated to the locker room, and the assumption on the Bucks’ TV broadcast was that he went looking for Henson.

As it turns out, Barnes was searching for Henson.

Apparently, the security staff went to great measures to ensure things didn’t get too crazy.
