No. 8 seed Wagner took the National Invitation Tournament (NIT) by storm Wednesday, knocking off top-seeded St. Bonaventure, who many believed was among the biggest NCAA Tournament snubs, 79-75 in first round action.
They look to continue their success when they meet No. 4 Creighton on Saturday afternoon in the earliest college basketball game and only NIT game of the day. The Blue Jays cruised to a 72-54 victory over No. 5 Alabama in the NIT opener Tuesday.
