Michigan State has mowed down its competition all season and enters the Big Ten Tournament final with a 28-5 record, but the Spartans likely won’t make easy work of Purdue.
The Boilermakers are going into Sunday’s showdown not too far behind Michigan State at 26-7, and they already beat the Spartans 82-81 in overtime once in the regular season. But even though both Purdue and Michigan State will make the NCAA Tournament regardless of the Big Ten championship outcome, the Spartans certainly will want to exact their revenge and make a case for a No. 1 seed.
