After spending time as the No. 1 team in the country, the Oklahoma Sooners fell all the way to the No. 3 seed in this week’s Big 12 Tournament. And that means they have to face the stingy sixth-seeded Iowa State Cyclones in the quarterfinals.
The No. 6 Sooners, led by Buddy Hield, went 1-1 against the No. 21 Cyclones during the regular season, and that loss was Oklahoma’s first defeat while ranked No. 1 in the country.
