Steven Wright will face an early test Friday against one of Major League Baseball’s most dangerous lineups.
The right-handed knuckleballer will take the mound for the Boston Red Sox against the Toronto Blue Jays in the 12th game of the team’s Grapefruit League slate. It will be the second appearance of spring training for Wright, who allowed two hits and struck out four over two scoreless innings against Boston College on Feb. 29.
Wright will be opposed by Blue Jays ace Marcus Stroman.
