This Oakland Athletics fan needs to be on a piece of American currency.

Thursday’s game between the A’s and Chicago White Sox might have seemed like a run-of-the-mill April baseball game. Little did anyone know one of the greatest feats in human history would occur — in the stands.

We have no idea who this man is, but he arguably made the play of the season so far in Major League Baseball.

In the top of the fifth inning, White Sox outfielder Adam Eaton hit a foul ball into the stands down the third base line. That’s where unnamed A’s fan stole the show. He not only snagged the ball with his bare hand, he did so while holding a beer in the other hand and seemingly not spilling a single drop.

Not only that, he ended up giving the ball to a young child, basically making that kid’s day, too.

It doesn’t get a whole lot better than making a highlight-reel play, saving a beer and brightening a child’s day all in one moment.
