Blues’ Defensive Dominance Starts In Net With Brian Elliott, Jake Allen (Video)

The St. Louis Blues entered Friday night’s matchup with the Boston Bruins having allowed a grand total of one goal over their previous five games.

Unsurprisingly, the Blues won all five, with Brian Elliott posting three shutouts and Jake Allen recording one of his own.

Goaltending has been an area of great strength this season for St. Louis, with Elliott leading the NHL in both goals against average and save percentage and Allen tied for second in the league with six shutouts.
