In 2015, the 119th Boston Marathon was held amid dreary and drizzly conditions.
The weather for the 120th running of the world’s most famous race could not have been more different.
Sunny skies and temperatures approaching 70 degrees Monday morning created a perfect setting for the Boston Marathon, which, as always, began in Hopkinton, Mass., and finished on Boylston Street in downtown Boston.
As the runners continue to make their way toward the finish line, let’s check out some of the more memorable images from Marathon Monday 2016.
