Boston Marathon 2016 Results: Top 10 Run Times For Men’s, Women’s Races

Ethiopians dominated the 120th running of the historic Boston Marathon on Monday en route to a sweep in both the men’s and women’s races.

Lemi Berhanu Hayle won the men’s race by 45 seconds with an unofficial time of 2 hours, 12 minutes, 45 seconds. Last year’s winner, Lelisa Desisa, came in second, followed by Yemane Adhane Tsegay to round out the top three.

Ethiopian Atsede Baysa erased a 37-second deficit to win the women’s race with an unofficial time of 2 hours, 29 minutes, 19 seconds. Tirfi Tsegaye (second place) and Joyce Chepkirui (third) completed the top three.
