Regardless of whether the game’s football, water polo or Marco Polo, Cam Newton is coming for Von Miller.
We learned as much Thursday when Newton fired back at a comically altered version of his surprising water polo photo that Miller shared on Instagram the previous day.

For the uninitiated, Newton’s lighthearted response says something to the effect of “Thought this was cute Von Miller. Lookin lookin lookin … lookin for revenge. Sept. 8.”
That, of course, is the date the Carolina Panthers will visit the Denver Broncos in the NFL’s 2016 season opener, which also will serve as a rematch of the two contestants in Super Bowl 50.
As was the case in the Super Bowl, Miller won this round of social media banter. Let’s hope Newton and Miller don’t wait five months to begin sparring again.
