David Ortiz is back to add to his stats at Rogers Centre.

The Boston Red Sox designated hitter rested during Saturday’s game against the Toronto Blue Jays, but he’ll return to the lineup for Sunday’s series finale and bat cleanup. Big Papi puts up some of his best numbers outside Fenway Park in Toronto, with 39 home runs, 104 RBIs and a .265 average in 119 games at Rogers Centre.

Chris Young also will be in Sunday’s lineup despite the Blue Jays having a right-hander on the mound in Marco Estrada. Young will cover Brock Holt’s post in left field and bat seventh.

Steven Wright will start for the Red Sox in his first career outing in Toronto. Wright also is making his first start for Boston this season, filling the injured Eduardo Rodriguez’s No. 5 spot in the rotation. The knuckleballer went 3-4 with a 3.96 ERA in nine starts last season.
