Dee Gordon undoubtedly is regretting some of his recent mistakes, and he might want to add a tweet to the list.
Major League Baseball suspended the Miami Marlins infielder for 80 games Friday after he tested positive for performance-enhancing drugs. Our limited pharmaceutical knowledge can’t prove what effect the substances had on Gordon’s body, but his tweet from last December suggests he might have been trying to bulk up in order to make a greater impression on women.
Either that or the two-time All Star happened upon that classic Nike commercial.
Either way, Gordon’s reputation is taking a battering, and the irony (or foresight) of that tweet won’t be lost on anyone who bothers to look.
