DraftKings: Xander Bogaerts, Albert Pujols Highlight Tom Caron’s Value Picks

If you’re looking for a DraftKings daily fantasy baseball value pick, Xander Bogaerts is ripe for picking at the top of the list, according to NESN’s Tom Caron.

The Boston Red Sox’s 23-year-old shortstop will dig in against Toronto Blue Jays knuckleballer R.A. Dickey tonight, and he owns a career .366 batting average (11-for-30) against him with five extra-base hits. Bogaerts got off to a slow start this season, going hitless in his first two games against the Cleveland Indians, but he owns a six-game hitting streak since during which he is batting .360.

In other action, Los Angeles Angels first baseman Albert Pujols has seven extra-base hits against Minnesota Twins starter Tommy Milone, who he’ll face Friday night, and Los Angeles Dodgers ace Clayton Kershaw faces the San Francisco Giants for a second straight start after allowing just two earned runs over eight innings last time out.
