Jared Goff is about to become a rich man now that the Los Angeles Rams selected him with the first overall pick in the 2016 NFL Draft on Thursday night. And the quarterback has earned the right to splurge following an impressive college football career at the University of California.
But Goff doesn’t really have elaborate plans despite his upcoming payday, which could include an NFL contract worth more than $25 million, plus whatever endorsement deals he lands. Instead, Goff is keeping it simple, judging by the 21-year-old’s appearance on “Jimmy Kimmel Live!” after being drafted.
Kimmel asked Goff what his first irresponsible purchase will be as an NFL player. Goff’s response might surprise you, if only because he should have plenty of money left over.
