Von Miller should consider himself lucky Johnny Manziel isn’t living with him.
Manziel allegedly hosted two all-night parties in 48 hours last week at house he and a friend rented in West Hollywood, Calif., Emily Smith reported Thursday in “Page Six” of the New York Post. According to the report, the embattled quarterback’s festivities left the place a mess, and the owners claim revelers did $32,000 worth of damage to the property.
“It’s claimed Manziel and his group left the house strewn with booze and drugs, broke an expensive glass table and a bathroom door, and left wine stains and cigarette burns on carpets,” Smith wrote. “Pictures obtained by Page Six show lines of suspicious white powder on a table and an open bag of what is claimed to be magic mushrooms.”
Comedian Kathy Griffin lives near the property. She found nothing funny about the April 6 event (on a Wednesday night) and called the police to complain about the nuisance.
Real estate broker Nicholas Goodwin’s company rented the $4.5 million property to Manziel. Goodwin says he found Manziel sleeping in the house two hours after he was supposed to have left.
“They were supposed to check out at noon,” Goodwin told Page Six. “Manziel was passed out. … There was cocaine all over the kitchen table, and mushrooms were still out on the table in front of him. There was booze everywhere … broken glasses over the floor and a Champagne glass in a tree.”
Goodwin wants Manziel and his cronies to pay for the damage, or he’ll file a lawsuit against the former Cleveland Browns signal-caller.
“If they don’t respond to our demand for compensation, we will sue,” Goodwin told Page Six.
Manziel told TMZ last weekend he was living with Miller in West Hollywood, and the two were “getting their lives together.”
We now know the two former Texas A&M Aggies aren’t roommates, and we have reason to believe Manziel was lying on both fronts.
