Von Miller has opened his home to Johnny Manziel, but that doesn’t mean the former college teammates soon will reunite in the NFL.

Manziel told TMZ on Saturday that he’s living with the Denver Broncos star, according to ESPN. The two were teammates and close friends at Texas A&M, and they’re sharing space in Los Angeles, as Manziel sorts through personal and professional issues.

“I’m living out here with my guy, Von Miller,” Manziel said. “Everybody knows Von Miller. Super Bowl MVP, Von Miller, my brother. I’m living with him right now. We’re getting our lives together, bro.”

Manziel’s revelation came two days after rumors linked him with the Broncos and one day after Miller publicly lobbied his team to sign the free-agent quarterback.

The Broncos have a quarterback void to fill, but Manziel’s looming legal issues and questions about his personal life have prompted Denver, and perhaps other NFL teams, from intensely pursuing him.

Manziel complimented the defending Super Bowl champions, calling the Broncos “a great organization,” but added he’s willing to play for any team that gives him a chance.

“Anywhere I get picked up, bro, is a blessing,” he said.

“Whatever happens, I love ball,” he said. “I want to play.”
