The NHL suspended Toronto Maple Leafs forward Nazem Kadri four games Monday for cross-checking Detroit Red Wings forward Luke Glendening up high in Sunday’s game at Air Canada Centre.

Kadri’s season is over because Toronto has just four regular-season games remaining. He has lost quite a bit of money this season for suspensions and fines.

Here’s the play in question. Kadri and Glendening got tangled up to the side of the net, and it appeared the Leafs forward took out his frustration with a cross-check.

This is Kadri’s third suspension as an NHL player. He finishes the season with 45 points (17 goals, 28 assists) in 76 games.
