If there’s anything Andrew Luck loves more than football, it might be reading.
The Indianapolis Colts quarterback is trying to share his love for reading for others by starting a book club, he announced Monday.
The appropriately named “Andrew Luck Book Club” launched Monday, with the mission of sharing “some of the books I’ve enjoyed, and to build a continually growing community of readers of all levels by engaging through social media.”
Members of the book club are called on to read the suggested books and use a hashtag to share their thoughts on social media.

“I’ve been called the unofficial librarian of the Colts, which is kind of cheesy,” Luck said, per ESPN.com. “But the truth is that I love to read both fiction and nonfiction and I feel strongly about the power of reading. So I thought, ‘Why not start a real book club?'”
We’ll admit it’s a pretty cool idea, and it’s definitely something you don’t see every day. We’re just hoping the book suggestions don’t get too carried away. Luck’s teammate, Colts offensive lineman Anthony Castonzo, told 98.5 The Sports Hub last season that Luck once was caught reading a book about the history of concrete.
Hopefully that stays off the list.
