Josh Gordon’s troubles reportedly continue.

The Cleveland Browns wide receiver’s petition for reinstatement was denied Tuesday by the NFL, a league source told Cleveland.com’s Mary Kay Cabot. Gordon also can’t re-apply for reinstatement until Aug. 1, a source told ProFootballTalk’s Mike Florio.

Gordon was seeking reinstatement after being suspended for the entire 2015 season after testing positive for alcohol.

This news comes one day after FOX Sports’s Mike Garafolo reported that Gordon failed another drug test, this time for marijuana and dilute. A report from ESPN’s Adam Schefter earlier Tuesday said there still was a chance Gordon could be reinstated within 60 to 90 days, but the NFL reportedly didn’t even take a full day to make its decision.
