Poked eye? Forget that. The show must go on.

Andrew Goudelock evidently got the memo because the Houston Rockets guard didn’t let Josh Smith’s brief eye injury ruin a possession Thursday night against the Phoenix Suns at Toyota Center.

Goudelock found himself in a predicament while trying to inbound the basketball with Smith bent over tending to his injury and the rest of the Rockets team on the other end of the floor. Fortunately for fans of juvenile humor, Goudelock saw his contorted teammate as an opportunity rather than an obstacle.

Goudelock inbounded the ball off Smith’s rear end before proceeding up the hardwood. If Smith was an opponent, we’d call it a cheeky play. But since it’s his teammate, it definitely was a heady move.

No but(t)s about it.
